She believes that modern media is deeply influenced by mundane topics, which has caused it to lose its original value and share fake premises that do not represent the true nature of journalism: fair information. Although Anne firmly believes that criticism and personal opinions must be included in the field, she hopes to bring more enrichment to the industry by creating a platform that allows columnists to write freely. I am Anne Schwartz, the founder of Eastern Eye and an experienced journalist. After I decided to quit my first office job in a large newspaper company, Eastern Eye was born. I felt out of place, as if I couldn’t talk about topics that really moved me. I decided that I needed to leave and start my own newspaper, the most important quality of which is to write transparently and honestly. Not only write true facts, but also be true to your essence. I am an adventurous person, who believes that change comes from within. It is impossible to leave a footprint in the world that surrounds you if you are not willing to let others leave a footprint in who you are, which is exactly the objective of journalism. Eastern Eye is my most ambitious project, but I believe that next to my team of reporters, I can leave an important legacy in this society, especially for the youth and the ones who are yet to come. Eastern Eye is projected to become an important newspaper and role model for the younger generation of readers and writers. We focus on expanding our audience and reaching more countries every day.
